Two issues: The website shows the drain connection below the sink being metal or black. In reality the part is white plastic that sticks out like a sore thumb. Secondly no directions accompanied the sink. I requested directions and was told via email a video would be sent via a link. No video link sent.

I was looking for a good solution for an outdoor sink. I don't want to have another stainless steel piece on the patio. I want something more rustic and less industrial. I was about to give up the search then I saw this sink! I contacted the customer service for some questions about basics of the sink and installation info. The customer service was very helpful and responsive at this point. Pretty soon I decided to get it. After I placed the order, the responsiveness of the customer service slowed down a bit. Still adequate but less impressive. The delivery date on the product page can be misleading. It makes more sense to view it as the shipping date. So you can add 1-2 weeks to the "delivery date" to calculate the actual delivery date of you are in the US. This product was built after the order was placed. It took about 10 days before it was shipped. The packaging was pretty sturdy. It almost felt like the lost ark from the Indiana Jones movie. The sink itself looks bigger in person. It looks every inch hand made. It is definitely not Pottery Barn refined but it was the rustic look I was going after. The sink, the faucet , the backsplash, the valve handles are made of raw copper and are almost exactly what I expected. The rough-in valve looks to be of good quality. I can't say the same about the bottle trap and the plumbing parts. These feel to be cheap hardware store quality. One thing that surprised me was the dimension of the backsplash. On the product page, the backsplash was labelled 8.5" tall. However, the real thing measures 10"+. Luckily I have enough space in the design to accommodate this surprise. Otherwise it could be disastrous. All in all, it has been a fun experience. Having a piece of amenities in my yard coming from Morocco is an exotic feeling.
