US rough-in guide for wall-mounted sinks
Use these standard US rough-in measurements to prepare the wall before your sink arrives. Confirm the final basin dimensions in the size option you select above.

How to install your unlacquered brass wall-mounted sink
- 1Plan the layout. Mark the sink centerline and rim height on the wall. Check the basin width, projection from the wall and faucet position for the size you order.
- 2Add blocking. With the wall open, install 2×8 or 2×10 blocking between the studs behind the mounting points. Wall-hung sinks must never hang from drywall alone.
- 3Rough in the plumbing. Set the drain stub-out and the hot and cold supplies to the heights in the table above. If you chose a wall-mounted faucet, install its valve now.
- 4Finish the wall. Close the wall and tile it, then fit the angle stops and trim the drain stub.
- 5Mount the sink. Drill through the finished wall into the blocking. Fix the bracket or backplate with the supplied hardware, check that it's level, then set the basin.
- 6Fit the drain and bottle trap. Install the pop-up drain with plumber's putty or the supplied gasket. Thread the bottle trap onto the G1-1/4" drain tail and cut the wall arm to length. Then slide it into the drain stub and tighten the wall flange.
- 7Connect the faucet and test. Connect the supply lines, run the water and check every joint for leaks. Seal around the backplate with clear silicone if needed.

Care for your brass or copper sink
Rinse and wipe dry after use. Clean with mild soap and a soft cloth, and never use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals. Unlacquered finishes develop a natural patina over time. To restore the shine, use a gentle brass or copper polish. To keep the aged look, simply leave it to age.

Does the sink include a faucet?
That depends on the product and option you choose. Check the Items selector to confirm whether the faucet, drain, bottle trap and mounting components are included.
Will it work with US plumbing?
Yes. Our sinks are designed to fit standard US rough-ins: a 1-1/2" drain stub and 1/2" supply lines with angle stops. The bottle trap connects to a US drain arm with a standard slip-joint reducing washer.
Can I request a custom size or finish?
Yes, on selected designs. Send us your measurements and preferred finish before ordering and we'll confirm the options.
Will the brass change color?
Unlacquered brass and copper are living finishes that slowly darken and develop a patina. Polish them to restore the shine, or let them age naturally.
