So, after a rather stressful time, we received our Faucet. It looks beautiful and feels very well-made. Our renovation is still ongoing, so testing functionality will have to wait - but I'd be surprised if there are any issues.
The main concern during this process was poor/lack of communication. When I ordered, the website said this item was in stock and would arrive in just under 2 weeks. Nowhere did it indicate that the faucet was made to order. It took a few emails and a couple of phone calls for me to find out that, indeed, the faucet was made to order, hence the 6-8 week wait.
We did receive a shipping notice for the predicted delivery time; however, as we tracked the package, we saw it arrive in our Province, then leave our Province to land 2 Provinces West of us. Now we were really concerned that we had lost our Faucet and our money. Took a few days and a few emails to get it sorted out. The wrong tracking number was sent to us. Once the correct tracking number was sent, it took a few more days for FedEx to acknowledge receipt of the package. Most of my communication with this company came after I left a one-star review and expressed my displeasure with the process.
Improved communication would help increase trust in the process. Again, the faucet is beautiful and appears to be very well made. If I were to order again from this company, I would like clearer communication as to whether the item is made to order, more reasonable shipping prediction, as well as notification if there are delays at customs - this would immensely help reduce my stress that we were taken for a ride and improve my trust in the seller.
